I have been DYING to share these pictures and this pattern test with you! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I posted a sneak peek of these photos last week. I couldn’t contain myself! This might be my favorite “photo shoot” I have done with Maci. She was just working this adorable pencil skirt and whipping out these amazing model poses all on her own. I guess she’s had a lot of practice lately!

Today’s pattern test is another amazing design brought to you by Amy of Peek-a-boo Pattern Shop.  The Pipsqueak Pencil skirt is a darling staple-pattern to have in your stash. It really doesn’t get much more stylish than a high-waisted knit pencil skirt. Throw on a matching infinity scarf, and this outfit is absolute perfection! Even better, Amy released the pattern in Women’s sizes, too! (the Piper Pencil Skirt)

Here are the pattern details for the girl’s:

Sizes 3 months – 12 years

Enclosed Elastic Waistband

Exposed Elastic Waistband

or Yoga Waistband

Want to know the best part? I timed myself cutting the fabric and sewing this little beauty up. Five minutes to cut fabric and 15 minutes to sew – including hemming. Cut and sewn in TWENTY minutes! You really can’t beat that. The fabric I used for Maci’s pencil skirt is this gorgeous floral Ponte de Roma from one of my favorite online fabric shops – LA Finch Fabrics.

Here are the details for the Women’s Piper Skirt:

Sizes XXS-XXXL (00-24)

Enclosed Elastic Waistband

Exposed Elastic Waistband

Yoga Waistband

High or Low Rise

Above or Below Knee Lengths

I wasn’t assigned a women’s size for the test and wanted to sew one up anyways, but I ended up running out of time. Story of my life, right!? I swear there aren’t enough hours in the day! So until I make the time to sew one up for myself, enjoy a few more pictures of Maci! She’s cuter than I am anyways 🙂

I don’t know where she comes up with these poses and looks, but I was DYING. Sassiest 4 year old ever!
