Made to Mash with the Juliette Pattern – mix and mash the bodices/skirts
For my first tester version, I did exposed lace flutters, a woven-fabric simple skirt with lace trim at the hem, and used the same lace at the waist for a floral sash. Even with the simple skirt, this dress is incredibly dreamy! I’ll just let these photos do a little talking… 🙂
The burgundy fabric is this fabric from Girl Charlee. It is technically a lining fabric, so it was pretty thin, but it worked. The color is just gorgeous! Although, it was a little tricky to work with. I swear it was alive the way it was shifting and slipping! But I made it through and love the result. The floral woven I used for the skirt is a fabric from Hobby Lobby that’s been in my stash for probably a couple of years now! It’s about time I made use of it! I found the ivory lace trim at Joann’s in the “trim by-the-yard” section.
I couldn’t resist doing a quick Annabelle-Juliette mashup! I used the tank bodice from Annabelle and the dress length circle skirt from Juliette! The twirl factor on this dress is AMAZING! I used metallic gold mystique for the bodice and a ballet pink nylon/spandex from my stash for the skirt.
Good thing she has matching metallic gold shorties on underneath! 🙂
